Low-density polyethylene (LDPE) is used widely in protective packaging applications. High-density polyethylene (HDPE) is used in many different types of protection that require greater tear resistance. Available in sheets, rolls and die-cut parts.<\/p>\n<p>Main characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>durable<\/li>\n<li>non-abrasive<\/li>\n<li>lightweight<\/li>\n<li>creep-resistant<\/li>\n<li>water- and steam-resistant<\/li>\n<li>mould-resistant<\/li>\n<li>CFC- and HCFC-free<\/li>\n<li>recyclable and reusable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Crosslinked polyethylene foam<\/h2>\n<p>Cross-linked polyethylene foams come in a variety of densities and degrees of firmness, and are available in rolls, sheets, double-sided adhesive strips and die\u2011cut parts (with or without adhesive).<\/p>\n<p>Main characteristics:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>aesthetically appealing<\/li>\n<li>thermoformable<\/li>\n<li>excellent resistance to chemical products<\/li>\n<li>excellent thermal insulation capacity<\/li>\n<li>superior resistance to UV rays<\/li>\n<li>resistant to water and steam<\/li>\n<li>mould-resistant<\/li>\n<li>excellent dimensional stability<\/li>\n<li>good thickness precision<\/li>\n<li>non-toxic<\/li>\n<li>CFC-, HCFC- and HC-free<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Some of the products in this series are FDA-approved and UL94-listed.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Extruded polyethylene foam is suitable for a wide variety of applications.
