Protac Industries offers a complete range of solutions that meet the needs of insulation, soundproofing, sealing, filtration, as well as any other related applications for which our industrial customers require our expertise.
Protac Industries is committed in reducing the risks associated with environmental aspects in our operations as well as our products.
To achieve the goals of our environmental policy, we commit ourselves to:
- Establish an environmental management system structure to be conform with applicable laws and regulations to implement sustainable resource activities;
- Continuous improvement of our manufacturing process and our products with periodical audit and evaluation;
- Reduce pollution by reducing waste at the source by favouring the reuse of material, recycling, recovery and safe disposal;
- Commitment to protecting the environment and take in consideration the animal welfare, the biodiversity conservation, the land use and deforestation and noise emissions;
- Control the GHG emissions by implanted program of CO2 reduction and renewable energy for the decarbonization and use energy efficiently, measure, track, and report the GHG emissions;
- Comply with laws and regulations on pollution and preservation of air, water and soil and monitor continuously as well as reduce contaminants and water, usage for environmental preservation;
- Implement process controls of chemical substances having a possibility that environmental pollution may occur and guarantee that parts and materials do not contain any chemical substances prohibited under the laws and regulations in each country and region.
Means Implemented to protect the environment:
- Communicate to all employees their responsibilities in terms of environment and ensure that they receive appropriate training for their workstation;
- Implement procedures and programs to reduce the impact on the environment;
- Elaborate each year environmental goals and target while taking into account the different elements of the environmental management system;
- Provide adequate resources to allow the implementation of programs as well as targeted environmental goals;
- Identify the risk and opportunities linked to our environmental aspects and establish appropriate responses;
- Consider the expectations of all involved parties.
This policy will be revised once a year to ensure that it still reflects and respects the commitments made by Protac Industries.
